We also just finished the photoshoot for our official catalog. We brought in Francis Abraham from Paradigm Visions Photography. I’m pretty sure you know him. He was the photographer of Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin’s The Promise poster and was also the one who did a mock photoshoot/poster for the Starstruck survivors (Aljur and Kris’ batch). His shots were superb and so were his equipments. His camera alone costs PhP 500,000.00.

Oh, and let me share with you a picture of a few accessories that the students made during the 3 day fashion accessories workshop.

A Heart

Valentines day is coming! Hmm, I think I should just post this story on my love blog. See you there!

Did I mention I now work in the fashion industry? Like, I get to meet famous designers in the country! Plus, there’s no dress code. I can dress up all I want! For the first time, I am actually forced to wear something fashionable and glamorous instead of the usual boring office clothes. But the best thing about this job is the fashion events…

This coming weekend we’ll be having a fashion immersion. It’s like a shorter and less formal fashion show that showcases the latest collection of the featured designer for the month. The purpose of the event is to let the people know that fashion is a part of our everyday life, hence the term immersion.

For this weekend, Manila designer Gerry Katigbak’s collection will be featured. He’ll also be joining us for the event. He’ll be arriving tomorrow, together with some models.. aka HOT MEAT, goddammit! LMAO!

Oh how I love this job.

On a lighter mode, Christmas is in the air. Yahoo! I can’t wait for the new year to come. I’m sure you’ll have an idea why.

Unfortunately, NO can do. I have work to do! Ugh. Who works during Saturdays and Sundays anyway?

Ugh. Someone kill me now.

So how are you people? I miss the online world so I’ll be blogging again. The company’s Christmas party is coming up, this Dec. 8, and I’m pretty excited. I knoooow it’s early, but the owners will no longer be around after that date. They’re going to Rome for the holidays. What a wonderful life. I wish I could be that rich.

So we’ll be having this talent show and I still don’t know what our department’s gonna showcase. Any ideas?

In case you wanna be updated about my LOVE life, I have a LOVE blog. Ask for the URL because I like to keep it a bit private.

My officemate, who is the HR Supervisor talked to me just a while ago and what he told me was really funny. I just found out that certain people in my work place have complaints about me. They said that I don’t say good morning and they find it a bit disrespectful and assumed that I am too full of myself. This of course made me laugh. Seriously. Of all things to complain, just the mere fact that I don’t say good morning? I’m laughing my ass out now. They’ll have to get used to the fact that I say “Hi, Hello” instead of good morning and good afternoon and what have you.

Oh how I love my job. ROFLOL! <3 <3

I think the booth designer, whom we paid P13,000, did a nice job on the design and concept.

We promoted our beach resort during the 3-day affair and it was also a nice exposure for me. I met a lot of people who would of great help to us, especially travel agencies.

Next huge event for me is the company’s 50th (golden) anniversary which will be on September 8. (I just found out they assigned me to socialize with the VVIPs. *gasp*)

Minor events for the week and next would be the arrival of different guests in the exclusive beach/heritage house. (It’s different from the one we promoted during the expo.)

Busy, busy, as always. As Jogz said, and I quote, “nalunod ka na sa work mo”… So true!

Glamping or glamorous camping allows you to enjoy the experience of outdoor camping without the hassle. These tents are equipped with hotel-class ammenities, from beds, to desk, comfort rooms, and appliances. Isn’t it great? When we had our corporate meeting last Wednesday, the topic was brought up and I immediately loved the idea. On our next project, we’ll be aiming for this kind of set-up. I can’t wait. I’d love to try this.

So I’ll be requesting stuffs from the company which I can use for work. So far I’ve come up with this list.

1. Laptop
2. Stapler
3. Pens
4. Gas allowance + Maintenance (as soon as I start doing sales calls)
5. My own company mobile (for sales calls again)
6. Calling card

So what else do you think I should request? Teehee

So about the contest. I decided to have two. The first one would be the random draw. The other one would be more difficult- a poster making design and also bigger rewards.

So this is how it will go. For the random draw, it’s only a matter of luck. Each contestant gets only a maximum of three entries. If you write a post about this contest, you earn one entry. If you continue any of the phrases  I will enumerate below, you earn two raffle entries. (Your answers may be inserted in a blog post) And the phrases are:

• If Jose Rizal is a teenager in this lifetime…
• If Adolf Hitler has a Facebook account…
• If Socrates is a pirate…

Be as creative as you can. There will only be THREE  lucky winners for this contest who may choose any of the following prizes:

1. .info domain (1 year) + lifetime unlimited hosting
2. Special item (Accessories, bags, etc, etc. I will post the items on the next entry and winner may choose anything he/she likes.)

Leave the link of the blog post so I can include you in the contest. Deadline for submission of entries is on June 20, 2009.

The other contest will be the poster designing contest. If you’re up to the challenge, leave your name, email and url in the comment form. Registration for the contest ends on June 15, 2009. By that date, I will email the photos to be used to the contestants. Deadline will be on June 30. (Salary day, LOL)

First prize is Php 500 (convertible to $$)+ three months advertisement + two special items

Second prize is Php 350 (convertible to $$)+ two months advertisement + one special item

I’m still deciding whether to have a third place or not. That would depend on the number of contestants.
